As we discussed, it would be interesting to consider the fashion of mature women and how a lifetime of developing a unique style could be a great influence when considering new trends. Here is the blog and trailer I mentioned. I'm obviously not suggesting we start designing or focusing on older women but I find the premise behind wearing things that you have a love affair with rather than for straight fashion purposes is great. Hope you find it interesting....

I thought it'd be interesting to look at someone with a strong personal style who's young (a contrast to these older women who have been developing their style for their whole lives). Tavi Gevinson mentions that she found her style at a point when her peers were loosing their self-esteem, interesting when you link it to the women in their 90s who are also going against the ideas people have about style at a particular age or stage of life.
There's lots of good interviews about personal style on stylelikeu.com (I know we mentioned it the other week Rosie), worth a watch!
