Texture

I really like the texture on this plastic jacket and could like quite good if it was trimmed with the chuncky knit idea that we have, also the texture is similar to the architecture pic below which works with the folding up trend.

A few images from a beading blog i have discovered, http://thisbeadifulworld.tumblr.com.

Sophie talked about her sequined parker jackets in the presentation she gave us, not a fan of the sequins but perhaps they show the scale and quantity we are looking for but perhaps not the weight.

Some more examples of work by Liza Lou:

Particularly love these rolls of beading, you can really feel the weight of the fabric.

A few beading and embellishment details from Sophie Hulme.

I like this for the sustainable aspects of recycled materials and for print, colour and fabric

I think this fits in nicely with the folding origami trend, could be interesting to try and use print in this way to interpret the folds into the design.
